Rehabilitation of Clark County Bridge Overpasses

  •

For this project, LJB provided design services for the rehabilitation of three bridges in Clark County, Ohio:

  • County Road 333/Dayton Springfield Road over IR 70
  • Township Road 146/Old Mill Road over IR 70
  • County Road 318/Rebert Pike over IR 70

The scopes of work for the three bridge rehabilitations were similar and consisted of removing the existing concrete bridge deck overlay and reinstalling a super-plasticized dense concrete overlay. LJB also provided superstructure and substructure patching, bearing replacement and expansion joint replacement. For all three bridges, the existing steel beams and girders were painted and substructures were spot-sealed with epoxy-urethane concrete sealer.
