Last month, LJB was awarded a contract to provide fall protection services—including risk assessments, system inspection and certification, system design and training—for the Architect of the Capitol (AOC). The contract will support AOC in proactively maintaining its current fall protection systems and advancing a culture of safety by performing assessments of existing facilities and work area. The contract extends through May 2019, with options for four additional years, potentially pushing the contract through to May 2023.

“AOC is very proactive about protecting their employees, contractors and visitors,” said LJB project manager Kevin Wilcox, who has managed LJB’s work with AOC for nearly a decade. “It is an honor to work with such a safety-conscious organization and to improve safety at some of the nation’s most iconic and historic buildings.”
